Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Grecia E. Smith is a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor who holds a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She is also an active member of the American Counseling Association. Grecia has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, providing treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, and PTSD.Her therapeutic approach primarily incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and EMDR. She also uses an integrative approach, tailoring treatment to each individual by drawing on a variety of techniques and adapting them to the client’s unique needs and goals meeting each person exactly where they are.

Rossana Mendez

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Rossana Mendez is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the states of Florida and Rhode Island. She has worked with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and end-of-life issues, providing care across diverse settings including homes, schools, clinics, and community agencies. Rossana draws from multiple modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, always centering her work on the client’s unique needs. She is passionate about serving diverse populations and fostering growth through compassionate, client-centered care.

Meggan E. Lugo

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI)

Meggan E. Lugo, also known as Megg, is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) and trauma-aware yoga teacher. As a BIPOC clinician, she brings experience in supporting neurodivergent individuals, children, and those with invisible disabilities, while offering affirming care to LGBTQ+ and polyamorous communities. Meggan specializes in trauma—including Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR)—as well as relationship challenges and personal growth. With a strong commitment to multicultural competence and social justice, she integrates ancestral healing, generational perspectives, and spirituality into her work. Her therapeutic style is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s story, with an emphasis on women’s health, balance, and resilience. At The Mind Gym, Meggan incorporates safe movement practices, blending psychotherapy with embodied healing to create deeply empowering outcomes.
